Today was my birthday, and I spent it taking a hiking outing with my children.
Thanks to all for the cards, gifts, calls, and well wishes. I cherish them all.
Speaking of what I cherish, there is one gift that my mom gave me a few years back, I truly cherish, and guard it in my wallet to read again and again…It has always meant so much to me.

My brother has been visiting from Texas and is leaving sometime today.
His birthday was also yesterday and we spent the day and evening away from home
at the Zoo and eating out.
