It wasn’t until a recent trip to D.C. that I
learned my daughter and Abe Lincoln were
real ‘tight mates’. She rather proved it by
willing to make a hike of it in the hot summer
D.C. sun to see his statue in the Lincoln Memorial.

She could do worse I suppose in her admiration of
someone.

Today I found an interesting quote on the net,
supposely by Abraham Lincoln.
These days when there are so many shades
of grey on right and wrong, so many shadowy areas
of integrity, that we can’t even look to our leaders for
truth, I rather liked this find:
