My NEW Mp3 Collection
Most who visit my blog know that my external hard drive, where I store all my music, failed.
I have not been able to get together the money needed to look into a data recovery specialist, although, a few of them quoted me fair prices, well below the 1,000 – 2,000 dollar standard, it was still steep for me in light of my limited income.
I have that on the back burner for now, perhaps I will still be able to do that in the future.
What was so hard for me to live without was my music collection. So I have dedicated some time to getting it back, and I am happy to report that I have most of my music back, with a few things still missing. While I was at it, I added even more songs to the collection, ripping some of my mom and dad’s CDs as well as my own.

That is a hefty price even if below the standard quote. I had no idea how much something like that would cost. At least you have an option down the road but boy…that is quite expensive. Perhaps you will find a better deal in the future. I am going to throw my photos on DVD’s here soon.
