After doing some homework on Chavez, and finding out that he got “elected” by rather dubious means, (doesn’t anyone have a problem with the word dictator anymore?), I was even more alarmed when the News told how there is now a connection between Chavez and OUR voting machines.

With our midterm elections only a few days away, I find this unsettling.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. government is probing whether a takeover last year of a leading U.S. voting machine maker by a software company with links to Venezuela gave President Hugo Chavez’s leftist government control over its operations, the New York Times reported on Saturday.
