		<description>This just shows how difficult it is to separate politics from the Olympics. There were more political considerations behind awarding them the Games than anything else. Given the ongoing human rights issues I can&#039;t help but wonder why the rest of the world is falling all over itself to develop economic relations with them. I think the hope is that the growth of capitalistic ventures in the country will force change. I have my doubts.</description>

		<description>Thanks for those updates.  Whatever happened to freedom of speech?  I&#039;m with you - the Olympics are great to watch but the whole China thing puts a damper on it.</description>
