Antartica Ice is Growing

In spite of the alarms sounding off in the mainstream media, in fact, in Antartica, over the past 30 years, the area of sea ice around the continent has expanded. Ice core drilling in the fast ice off Australia’s Davis Station in East Antarctica by the Antarctic Climate and Ecosystems Co-Operative Research Centre shows that last year, the ice had a maximum thickness of 1.89m, its densest in 10 years.

Dr. Allison is a well-known oppositor to Australian Labour party. I don’t know why right parties insist on denying a fact that is now overwhelmingly accepted by the scientific community. Anyway, the article points to the SCAR (http://www.scar.org/news/antarctic/), where anyone can find too many warnings on ice shrinkage, including a reference to the eastern region of the continent, which is larger and colder than the western portion, and warming at 0.1C per decade, while the west is at 0.17C per decade – faster than the global average. Thanks anyway for the brief blow of hope, but we better take it seriously for the sake of our sons.

For the sake of our children, one scientists bias over another, where it means control and emptying out one’s wallet to government agencies in the name of “science” and some fictional global warming.

If every person just did their part, problem solved, and no money spent, no government control needed.

Plain good old fashioned responsibility. If you don’t like politics in the leaning of it one way, then you shouldn’t like politics in the leaning of it the other way.

What the news says is Cap and trade in Spain (in the name of global warming) has lost 2.2 jobs for every green job created. They currently have 18.1% unemployment rate. Their energy costs rose 31%. No drop in carbon emissions yet.

Government can’t fix anything. They are the ones who are broken.

‘fictional global warming’… reminds me ’smoke is healthy’ back in the 50’s. What a good job oil lobbies seem to have done in extended areas of population, like tobacco did in the past.

But then you agree on the need of taking everyone’s responsibilty. So I assume you notice something is going on deserving to take responsibility on something! Glad to know!

During the past year, most countires met their Kioto targets effortless due to the economic crackdown. Don’t know when did you source your data. But, take a look at http://www.pbl.nl/en/publications/2009/Global-CO2-emissions-annual-increase-halves-in-2008.html.

On Spain… it may be a little poor country, but it’s world number 2 in Sun power. According to http://www.ree.com realtime power demand in Spain, clean energies (hydro, wind, sun) are becoming a real alternative.

Let’s hope more jobs can be moved from dirty industries. My own job is seeing gas turbines decline in favour of solar thermal powerstations.

The fiction is “carbon credits” – go ahead and pollute – just pay for it. It’s a load of bull. Follow the money trail for that.

There you will find the government “Savior” and whatever entity its in bed with.
