A sound file was sent to me today and I quickly went to look it up on YouTube.
Well I am speechless after hearing Jo from Florida.
I know nothing about the show’s host, and I don’t like the way he talked to the woman, but I can understand his frustration.
The subject matter was illegal immigration, and from what I can gather, he takes calls of all views, and this lady had the opposite view from the previous caller. She called to say open the borders, have no borders, let everyone in. To which the talk show host, Michael Savage, asked her a few simple questions. Her answers were…surprising.
First she calls the matter of having borders, is racist. That just seems to be the favorite word to apply to ANYTHING conservative these days, doesn’t it? It’s getting old liberals, it really is. There is no country you can name that doesn’t have an immigration policy, and most enforce them. And why not? They have their reasons, I am sure.
Second, she says that (and I quote) “…they [illegals] can do what they WANT to.”
When asked how many people did she think this country could sustain, she said, “600 million.” She then showed her ignorance unable to answer our population.
After some talk, she did seem to have ideals on what we SHOULD limit, income. Interesting. The talk show host found out that she was on a welfare income. This is how she can be so benevolent with other people’s money, the host noted. When he asked her where her welfare check came from, she said Obama paid her welfare check. She could not answer where Obama gets the money, but I swear I heard her say “stash”.
When the outraged talk show asked her where does Obama get the money from again, she answered, “Illegal aliens. They work for the money and then they pass the money on to the government.”
Unreal and unbelievable. Maybe people should have to answer a few simple questions before they are allowed to even vote.
Listen for yourself:
I hope Jo gets an important reality check instead of the welfare check.

You are absolutely right. There should be simple tests that are required before a person is granted the privelege to vote. When people first were given the vote in this country, they were no doubt very ignorant about distant issues and only voted on what they knew at the time. But they were allowed to vote. If a person cannot pass a simple test with simple question on the issues like those posed by Mr. Savage, then they should be given some material for study and then allowed to retake the test, as many times as necessary for them to gain just a little bit of essential knowledge so they can cast at least a somewhat intelligent vote. If they are unwilling to do that – then they should not be allowed the right to vote.
Followup comment: There is a saying that goes something like this. “The major problems in this world exist because the people that work for a living are outnumbered by the people that don’t work for a living – yet those that don’t work for a living are still allowed to vote.” Think about it.
