A Different Kind of Baby Shower

Now, given that I am now married but also part time gypsy, and far from living in a traditional manner, I likely have no business to call this an unconventional baby shower. But it WAS different. For one thing, the baby was already born, the party was mostly for the dad as well as the baby, guys were welcome, and it was held at Bamboo Bernie’s, a local drinking and eating establishment.

None of that took away from how cute Baby Kaylee is.

Laura was quick to steal the baby.

Just a few months old, she is so strong.

So Bamboo Bernie’s was quickly turned into a nursery looking party place

Well, sports was also a part of it…

There has to be a cake!

Reminding me of how my dad used to do this with Enric, Laura did the same thing with Kaylee, letting her pull up on her legs. The bonus, she gave us giggles while doing it!
