Meandering in Washington D.C.

Synara wanted to see the White House and Alejandra wanted to see the Lincoln Memorial, so we went back to Washington D.C. We chose a circle that would begin going to the Lincoln Memorial and then to the other side to the Capitol, with the White House and other...

Adulting

Yesterday when we went shopping to Urban Outfitters, they had the cutest book there called, “Adulting.” This looked like an entertaining but PRACTICAL book for all 20 somethings to read and learn a little about REAL life. It was brilliant. For example, here is one small excerpt: When some asks...

This July 4th we had the usual BBQ and family time. Laura did something a bit different for the holiday and took Alejandra and Synara for a hike to Patapsco State Park. After dinner, we dashed to get the slurpees and then off to the fireworks in Annapolis. This year...

Another Visit to the Baltimore Aquarium

Someone once told me that I’ve been way too many times to our National Aquarium, but besides the price, I really do like it there. This outing was a bit disappointing, since they are making changes and we missed the dolphins, but there is always something wonderful to see.
