Justice Delayed is Justice Denied
On Sept. 12, 2012, President Barack Obama vowed to “bring to justice†the perpetrators of the deadly attack in Benghazi, Libya. On Oct. 26, 2012, Obama said his “biggest priority†was bringing the “folks†in Libya responsible for murdering four Americans to “justice.â€
Obama continues to ply his emptiest talking point. On May 13, 2013, more than eight months after the bloody disaster, Obama snippily reminded reporters that he had told us all back in September that “we would find out what happened, we would make sure that it did not happen again, and we would make sure that we held accountable those who had perpetrated this terrible crime.â€
July 2013, Obama has reduced four dead, his lies, and administration’s cover-up to a “phony scandal.”
Gross negligence cost the lives of Stevens and the former Navy SEALs who tried to save him.
On Sept. 12, a tough-talking Obama promised the country in a pre-election photo op that he would hunt down the ambassador’s killers.
He’s done nothing.
CNN was able to talk to the Benghazi terrorist for two hours, but our FBI can’t practice investigating 101 and ask a few questions.
I ache for the families of the dead.
But please, don’t think that the leaders who lie, cover-up, promise justice, then later reduce it to a ‘phony scandal’ mean what they say. Over a year later, is proof that they don’t.
