If you’ve been watching President Obama closely, you know there is no crisis; in this country, or on earth for that matter. He merrily plays his golf, campaigns full throttle, has photo ops eating hamburgers with us regular folk, and has his vacations. (Do you realize the upcoming Martha’s Vineyard break will put Obama over 140 days on vacation?)
He doesn’t even have to pretend he cares, people dead, missing, or at war? It’s time to brag about his dancing, of course. He and his kind are living like kings.
There’s no reason for Obama to secure our borders…why in Texas alone:
There have been over the course of the last five years, since the fall of ’08, over 203,000 individuals who have come into Texas illegally who have been booked into our county jails. Those individuals have accounted for over 3,000 homicides and over 8,000 sexual assaults.
How can Obama even THINK about teeing up with those figures, and that is with ONE state alone! And for heaven’s sake, don’t try to cross the street to get to the hospital while in labor while Obama is in town, the motorcade must get through, thank you.
The president who bragged about how transparent his presidency was going to be and is, locked out the press on the latest fund raising trip. I’d like to know what kind of deal is cooked up for donations behind closed doors. It can’t be good for the American people if we’re not allowed to know about it.
“We think these fundraisers ought to be open to at least some scrutiny, because the president’s participation in them is fundamentally public in nature,†said Christi Parsons, the new president of the White House Correspondents’ Association. “Denying access to him in that setting undermines the public’s ability to independently monitor and see what its government is doing. It’s of special concern as these events and the donors they attract become more influential in the political process.â€
So who is making the next policies for our country? I am guessing these people meeting him behind closed doors. If not, he should open the doors to reporters. It’s that simple.
