Sunrise, Sunset

Often when I am in Perth, John takes me to see the sunset. We usually go on days when the sky looks like it has potential for a dramatic sunset. There was potential on this particular evening.

But thick, low, rainclouds on the horizon soon showed us the sky wouldn't light up like it often does.

The rays were also lovely.

This gull seemed to be enjoying the view, he just stood there and let John and I get his picture for a long time.

After photographing the sunset, the seagull, it was time to turn the camera on ourselves.

So my first week back, staying awake and staying asleep BOTH have been an issue.

So I think John had enough and one early morning when I couldn’t sleep any longer, took me out for a possible photo session of a misty morning bridge.

Well, mist around the bridge never happened, but we had a very chilly walk around the river.

Seems like we weren't the only nutcases awake so early. People rowing in the river, were getting an early start.

The sun rose strong.

The sun rose brightly.

We got to see an heron this early morn.

We actually did get to see the mist of the morning.

Lovely to see the heron in flight.
