For some, news headlines must be very confusing. For those who didn’t know their own minds, they could spend a lot of time going around in circles… TAKE BIRTH CONTROL….or…NOT? Yesterday, a large headline appeared next to Nanny Pelosi’s image, where she insisted that part of the 800+ Billion stimulous package needed to be thrown at Family Planning, birth control, THAT, she was sure would help the economy. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi boldly defended a move to add birth control funding to the new economic “stimulus” package, claiming “contraception will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government.”  Naturally that was met with a sensible, “How you can spend hundreds of millions of dollars on contraceptives how does that stimulate the economy?” from House Republican Leader John Boehner.
