I have long wanted to go to the Renaisaance Festival, but for one reason or another, I never got to go.
While still in Australia and his trip still in the planning stages, it ended up that Maryland's RenFest was one of the items that helped decide when John would come. He asked me to pick a weekend of my choice, and he planned his trip around October 18th, as I chose Chivalry Weekend.
