After the Jasper in the tree crisis, I didn't have time to breathe, have a cup of tea and just relax, we had to rush off to Heather's as she asked me to take her photo before going to her Homecoming Dance at her school. (Same school her mom, dad, and I graduated from).
She was needless to say, glamorous!
This one turned out to be my favorite.
With friends...
Cammy in the picture too of course!
Dad gives her a sweet send off...

Britney and Heather were in a dance recital at Downs Park. I was excited to see them dance again, and have another chance to take photos.
Britney on her toes.
After the recital, Laura and Heather go to the beach. The tide must have been very high, there was only a little beach.
Jenny and Miquel pause for a moment with the sun going down.

Today Laura and I were invited to Heather's dance recital. This was the 16th Annual Dance Recital of Dancer's Dreams, and held where I used to attend High School, Northeast.

Another highlight was watching Cameron. He loved the dancing, he wanted, "More!"
Coming home was interesting, a terrible storm with lightning greeted us as we left the school auditorium.
Now we're just ... Read More

My son Miquel has a friend; we have been calling him to distinguish him from another friend with the same name, "Crazy Andrew", a name he doesn't seem to mind. I think he believes we're fairly crazy, too.
Andrew felt comfortable enough with us to invite us to his personal presentation he made at his school a few nights ago. Seems Andrew, in lieu of Final Exams, was allowed to do a speech and show on ... Read More
My daughter Laura is quickly becoming like her mom. She met a friend on the internet, and wanted to meet her in person, and wanted me to meet the little girls mom, too. Katie is the new friend's name, and Katie who was going to appear in an outdoor dance recital at a local park, invited Laura to watch her.
I grabbed my camera and we went. Its a lovely park, and I am always ready to go to Down's Park!

What does Rolling Stones, Jeff Healy, 3 Doors Down, and Linkin Park all have in common? They are all on my MP3 List, of course!!
All my life has been surrounded by music. ..from my sister practicing the piano (she was a student at the distinguished Peabody Institute, to my dad's twanging country music, to the lovely hymms at church, my mom's love of classical music, to both my parents infatuation with the 40's sounds, and the rhythms of my sister's ...
