The Baltimore Years

Posted By Xerraire On Monday, August 2nd 2010 In Memories, Personal | Tags: childhood, home movies, Memories, you tube, YouTube |
The Baltimore Years I grew up from ages 0-7 in East Baltimore on North Milton Avenue. We had the best neighbors, the Sovines and the Metzgers. We enjoyed a lot of memorable times together. Some were filmed, and I have a few clips, not in any kind of order, of our times living in the city. Things to watch for: Cliffy as a baby, my legs going crazy while I played piano... and keep in mind there wasn't sound in home movies back then. Also, for ... Read More

Miquel amb Formatge

From the Past

From the Past "A memory is what is left when something happens and does not completely unhappen."  ~Edward de Bono  This must be my week for people in my past to contact me. If these things come in threes, this could get interesting. It's funny how I've often been told how even though we might not speak for awhile, reuniting and picking up where we left off is so easy. I am glad for that.   "I have memories - but only a fool stores his past in ... Read More

1977

Posted By Xerraire On Friday, October 27th 2006 In Personal | Tags: 1977, Memories, music, petra |
1977 We still had Petra with us in the winter of 1977, and Maryland treated her with both extremes on the weather. Summer she arrived in sweltering heat and the winter, was the worse I can remember at that time. Our huge Chesapeake Bay froze over entirely, and people were actually driving cars over the bay. That's cold! So we had romps in the snow, ice-skating on the creeks, and one long skate to Gibson Island. We had the Sweetheart dance, Dutch ... Read More
