I think men in general don't like to throw things away. Since the passing of my dad, we have found more stuff and can't believe some of the things he had kept over the years. Much has been documented about the difference between the Tea Party and the Occupy Movement.
The Tea Party demonstrations seemed to be able to make their points without breaking any laws, with out arrests, and basically being decent, every day folk.
Yet, what was Maxine Waters reaction to them? She said, "...as far as I'm concerned, the 'tea party' can go straight to hell."

The image uses the word protest, but I don't know if what the tea party did could be called protest. Either way, they both exercised their freedom of assembly.
