Random Australian Moments We were off on an outing, so I was glad to have my camera ready. Not just any boneless salmon sold here, we get the :"sexy" kind. I was glad to have the camera ready when a mob of kangaroos show up at the picnic area of the park! This one ... Read More

Fun with Family   Saturday we had as much of the family as we could assemble for a swim/picnic day. Of course there was food. Some of us couldn't wait to dig in. Roger had the boys playing ball. Aiden has a turn at bat. I think Lois was the umpire/catcher. Relaxing by the pool is a must. Best seats to watch the kids too! Silas in his own world with Kenny's watch. Lois shows the triplets how to swim. Rubí who is very ... Read More

End of Summer Party

End of Summer Party Technically, it's not the end of summer, but school has begun for most, and signals the end of summer vacation. With that in mind, mom and I told the kids to invite their friends for a party. After days of preparation, the party day started for me at 6 AM, picking up Miquel at work, where I also bought drinks and ice. Mike got the party started with a rousing....... ...nap. Miquel set up the music. Mike K and Laura splash around Brandon did acrobatics into the ... Read More

Memorial Day (Part Two) The next part of Memorial Day Weekend was our church picnic. The day started as usual, seeing Mr. Mason cooking the hamburgers and hotdogs. Laura and Miquel in a big game of soccer. Mike brought his appetite, and why not? No one cooks it up like Baptists at a barbecue! If there is a baby around, Anna will find them and scoop them up! There was also football, volleyball, great weather, and a special fellowship with our church family.   ... Read More

Our Independence Day We had a very sweet July 4th. The weather was sunny and great, the pool water was not too cold, and my sister and her husband came (fixed the bathroom fixtures, which was very nice!) and we had a cook out; all the usual, grilled barbecue chicken, hamburgers, corn on the cob, macaroni salad, and yummy chocolate chip cookie bars for dessert. Then we decided to go to watch the fireworks with Shelby and Lisa. It was a beautiful and perfect ... Read More
