While John was here, Laura only had one soccer game scheduled. So we definitely took the time so he could see a game to watch Laura, Erin, and the Granite girls play.

After John's recent trip here and noting that Uggs of Australia are made in China, he decided to send Laura uggs made in Australia, which she loves.
After John watched Miquel's enthusiasm for our local football team, the Ravens, he sent Miquel an official shirt of Perth's soccer team, the Perth Glory.

The next part of Memorial Day Weekend was our church picnic.
The day started as usual, seeing Mr. Mason cooking the hamburgers and hotdogs.
Laura and Miquel in a big game of soccer.
Mike brought his appetite, and why not? No one cooks it up like Baptists at a barbecue!
If there is a baby around, Anna will find them and scoop them up!
There was also football, volleyball, great weather, and a special fellowship with our church family.

After two sudden death overtimes the game at Granite today went to penalty kicks to decide their win over Perry Hall!
It was a very exciting game to say the least!

As you already know, Laura has been playing for Granite on their girl's soccer team.
Naturally I have taken this as yet another fun photography opportunity.
This has been a challenge. I was used to taking photos of Miquel's tennis, but soccer was a whole other matter.
The team has worked hard and are having a good season.
