Sarah Palin makes a very clever observation in an article she wrote for the Wall Street Journal:
"...the Occupy protesters must realize that Washington politicians have been "Occupying Wall Street" long before anyone pitched a tent in Zuccotti Park. "
Thanks to the 60 Minutes Report last Sunday and the book Throw Them All Out, more details are being delivered to Americans on how our Congress have entered their elected offices with moderate incomes and left their offices as millionaires.

Obama claims to be "with" the Occupy Wall Street Movement, and for some reason, they seem to like him back.
Now they all hate the rich don't they? Then why on Earth would Obama take Wall Street's money? Why would they give it to him? Something isn't right about this, and it makes me think that the Occupy Wall Street movement, isn't that serious a movement at all.
But I digress. Obama has a lot of Wall Street cash now and for ... Read More

It's interesting to me how tax and spend democrats, like Barney Frank, can align themselves with Occupy Wall Street and yet still accept Wall Street's campaign donations at the same time.
Then they have the cheek to act as if they could do better...how true this cartoon is.

“I don’t have facts to back this up, but I happen to believe that these demonstrations are planned and orchestrated to distract from the failed policies of the Obama administration.”
~Herman Cain
Is this a mere distraction to deter people from noticing the failed policies of Obama as Cain suggests? Is ACORN behind it?
How can people just walk by a corrupt government in D.C. and protest against money and makers of the THINGS we demand?
I have little knowledge of Steve Jobs. ... Read More

I stumbled across a good Rolling Stone Magazine article on the subject of Wall Street escaping jail Scott free even after the fraud, thievery, and greed at the financial ruin if many.
Nobody goes to jail. This is the mantra of the financial-crisis era, one that saw virtually every major bank and financial company on Wall Street embroiled in obscene criminal scandals that impoverished millions and collectively destroyed hundreds of billions, in fact, trillions of dollars of ... Well so far, Washington and Obama's administration, can't seem to do anything right unless he owes you for something, then it might be a little different.
From the Washington Times:
The financial reform bill expected to clear Congress this week is chock-full of provisions that have little to do with the financial crisis but cater to the long-standing agendas of labor unions and other Democratic interest groups.
Principal among them is a measure to make it easier for unions, ... Read More

An interesting piece from Politico. In spite of Obama's promises, lobbying is still the name of the game in D.C., but now the influences aren't even American based anymore.
Foreign banks are flexing newfound muscle in Washington, spreading their money and influence while winning government business that’s off-limits to their politically toxic American cousins.
While Congress and President Barack Obama have been bashing big American banks as the cause of the nation’s economic troubles, foreign banks have been ... Read More

Government forces bank to take TARP money
Bank gives it back.
Government says no, keep it.
Why?
Control. Obama and team wants to have CONTROL over all our financial institutions.
By STUART VARNEY
I must be naive. I really thought the administration would welcome the return of bank bailout money. Some $340 million in TARP cash flowed back this week from four small banks in Louisiana, New York, Indiana and California. This isn't much when we routinely talk in trillions, but clearly that money has not ... Read More

"If ALL the nations in the world are in debt, where did the money go?"
~ Steven Wright
In July, the Washington Post reported that the Air Force sought to divert a portion of $16.2 million set aside for the global war on terror. They wanted the funds to install first-class amenities called private "comfort capsules" on the military planes that whisk top officers and civilian officials around the world. The upgrades included 37-inch flat-screen monitors, plush leather seats, and full-length mirrors intended to ... Read More

This was in my inbox from Newt:
There's a term that's commonly applied to the economic systems of some Asian and Latin American countries. It's "crony capitalism."
Crony capitalism is when government controls significant parts of the economy. Under this kind of bureaucratic micromanagement, politicians - not the free market - call the shots. And that means that the decisions that control the economy are of necessity political decisions, not economic ones.
Crony capitalism is bad for ... Read More

“A Native American grandfather talking to his young grandson tells the boy he has two wolves inside of him struggling with each other. The first is the wolf of peace, love and kindness. The other wolf is fear, greed and hatred. "Which wolf will win, grandfather?" asks the young boy. "Whichever one I feed," is the reply.”

Financial crisis on Wall Street with banks folding left and right, our democrap controlled congress wants to adjourn!
The Democratic-controlled Congress, acknowledging that it isn't equipped to lead the way to a solution for the financial crisis and can't agree on a path to follow, is likely to just get out of the way.
Well, let them. I am sure if they stayed they would only make matters worse. So far they seem ... Read More

I am trying real hard to understand Obama's latest declaration:
"...we are in the most serious financial crisis since the Great Depression."
And to be honest, after listening to news yesterday and today, things aren't looking too hot. I saw some headlines calling it the "Nightmare on Wall Street."
Here is my confusion, while Obama says he cares about people in general and this country, his half brother is still living in a shantytown, in poverty.
My other point of confusion is if we're in financial ... Read More

"You should be happy your gas is $4.00 a gallon, some of Europe pays twice that."
It is often said and yet there is an error in this logic. Much of Europe has an amazing connection of transport that makes cars unnecessary. Many can roam about comfortably and never own a car. In many cases, a car is pure luxury. This is not so where I live, and without the convenience of a metro or a bus route, I don't have ... Read More

I got an email from Ann Coulter today.
She asks: "Do you know which special interest has given more money to the Obama and Clinton campaigns than any other?"
Not Labor Unions
Not the Green Lobby
Not NEA nor AARP
The answer is WALL STREET.
According to CNNMoney.com, Wall Street securities and investment firms have given over $35 million to Democratic candidates this election cycle. And the amount they've given to the Clinton and Obama campaigns is nearly five times the amount they've given to McCain.
