We went for a drive in the Countryside.

Collie is a beautiful area 132 miles south of Perth. Coal was discovered there in the early 1880’s by a shepherd.

I don’t think I could ever get tired of this area.

We made a few stops like this small waterfall…

Turns out it’s a campsite by Stone’s Brook.

Then we went to Wellington Dam.

The dam was constructed in 1933 and enlarged in 1956, and the power station was built in the 1950s.

Wellington Dam is the largest dam in the South West and the second largest in Western Australia, and is fed by the Collie River.

Abseil the quarry?

The Quarry offers sheer walls and slabs up to 20m
high comprising a compact, and for the most part
solid granite.

Back on the road, the sun starts to go down.

Which can only mean, head to the coast!

Another beautiful sunset near at the Indian Ocean
