Allowance for Climate Policy
Ah that sneaky Obama… From Informed Citizens The big news in last year’s budget release was the revelation that the Obama administration planned to use cap-and-trade to raise $646 billion dollars over ten years to finance its big spending programs. At the time I wrote here in the Fox Forum that estimate was a lowball of what actually constituted the biggest tax increase in U.S. history, something White House economist Jason Furman later admitted when he revealed the real revenue would likely be triple the official estimate. So the first thing I checked in this year’s budget was how much revenue was expected from the cap-and-trade energy tax, to which the president reiterated his commitment in his State of the Union address last week. The surprising answer is the budget actually has, … Read entire article »

Climategate
According to PrisonPlanet… Global warming is heading to the same dustbin of history as Y2K, SARS and swine flu – another manufactured scare peddled primarily to make vast profits for corrupt elitists at the expense of the general public. The entire fraud is collapsing under the weight of its own lies as new revelations of IPCC deception and bias emerge on an almost daily basis… The first major blow came when the IPCC had to admit that their 2007 forecast that the Himalayan Glaciers would disappear by 2035 was completely wrong. The absurd claim was first made by a little-known Indian scientist in an interview for an online magazine, invoked by the World Wildlife Fund, and then copied into the 2007 IPCC report with no investigation as to its accuracy. It then … Read entire article »

Copenhagen Climate Summit: Mockable
Perhaps it is them who mock us? I mean in spite of the hacked emails proving that much about global warming is an invented hoax, and in spite of the money trail showing us it will reap heavy financial rewards for those who trumpet and proclaim it, the Copenhagen Climate Summit will take place. Perhaps it is THEM who mock our stupidity in allowing them to strip us of our autonomy and our money. 1,200 limos, 140 private planes and caviar wedges Copenhagen is preparing for the climate change summit that will produce as much carbon dioxide as a town the size of Middlesbrough. “We haven’t got enough limos in the country to fulfil the demand,” she says. “We’re having to drive them in hundreds … Read entire article »

Global Warming Data Dumped
While everyone is stuck on the Tiger Woods story, I’d like to point out that the BIGGER story over the weekend is that scientists who are predicting gloom and doom of global warming have been caught manipulating the data and scheming to show that the earth is warming in order to help the entity that is Al Gore and friends control our every day lives and more important our wallets. Along with that, now scientists now admit to throwing away the data showing their “proof” of warming. SCIENTISTS at the University of East Anglia (UEA) have admitted throwing away much of the raw temperature data on which their predictions of global warming are based. It means that other academics are not able to check basic calculations said to show a … Read entire article »

Treaty of Copenhagen
The draft Treaty of Copenhagen, to be signed in mid-December 2009, would create an unelected world government with direct power over all financial and trading markets, and direct power to intervene over the heads of elected governments in the economic and environmental affairs of all nations that sign the Treaty. The word “government” actually appears in the Treaty as the first of three purposes of a huge, new, supranational bureaucratic entity that will have the power to require wealthier nations to redistribute up to 2% of their annual gross domestic product to third-world countries in imagined reparation for imaginary “climate debt”. Watch the video. On October 14th 2009, Lord Christopher Monckton, a noted climate change expert, gave a presentation at Bethel College in St. Paul, MN. He has a strong warning … Read entire article »

Largest Tax Increase in American History Under the Guise of Climate Change
The so called reason for this large tax increase? In all it sounds good, limit pollution and usher in an era of cleaner energy. Critics of the legislation have said it will cost too much to our already weak economy, so they wanted safeguards in place. Even as Democrats have promised that this cap-and-trade legislation won’t pinch wallets, behind the scenes they’ve acknowledged the energy price tsunami that is coming. During the brief few days in which the bill was debated in the House Energy Committee, Republicans offered three amendments: one to suspend the program if gas hit $5 a gallon; one to suspend the program if electricity prices rose 10% over 2009; and one to suspend the program if unemployment rates hit 15%. Democrats defeated all of them. So how much … Read entire article »

Solve a Problem?
What if the UN gives talks on the climate/global warming and it costs 13,000 tonnes of Carbon? (shades of Al Gore’s Concerts for Global Warming). Well that is exactly what is happening. Forget that almost every time they hold Global Warming Summits it snows on them [funny how global warming has been modified to climate change]; around 13,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) will be added to the Earth’s greenhouse effect from the December 1-12 meeting of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, the UNFCCC said. Gee, if they want us to really believe there is a problem, they really need to think of a better way to fix it. If [the experts] can’t have a footprint of zero, how do they expect us to do it? UN climate talks to create 13,000 … Read entire article »

“Green” Also Means Money
The day after Live Earth, I read my daughter’s science book on the “global warming” theory and scanned news articles, which a few were revealing about the MONEY some of the headliners and people associated with Live Earth make and made. For instance, Live Earth Participant, FoxNews says about Madonna: Madonna, who seems to be on top of all her many business endeavors, has actually invested about $2.7 million dollars in companies that are creating the destruction that Live Earth is trying to raise awareness about. She has invested in several companies named as the biggest corporate polluters in the world. It’s a cruel irony that Madonna’s Ray of Light Foundation owns blocks of shares in companies that folks like Al Gore and Leonardo DiCaprio would like to see punished and rehabilitated for their attitudes toward global warming, … Read entire article »

Scientists respond to Gore’s warnings of climate catastrophe
“Professor Bob Carter of the Marine Geophysical Laboratory at James Cook University, in Australia gives what, for many Canadians, is a surprising assessment: “Gore’s circumstantial arguments are so weak that they are pathetic. It is simply incredible that they, and his film, are commanding public attention.” What’s this? Someone even daring to doubt Gore? Surely this must be one out of only a few that believe this way. No says an article in CanadaFreePress.com “Carter is one of hundreds of highly qualified non-governmental, non-industry, non-lobby group climate experts who contest the hypothesis that human emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) are causing significant global climate change. “Climate experts” is the operative term here. Why? Because what Gore’s “majority of scientists” think is immaterial when only a very small fraction of them actually work … Read entire article »

Prince Charles
Prince Charles will be visiting the U.S. next week, a tour of sort, and he seems to have a lot to say to us. Now I know the U.S. and England are allies for the most part, but looking at some of his reasons for touring the U.S., led me to do some research; curious while he seems to be here to help us “fix” our problems, and adjust our “attitudes” on a few things, I wondered what was the state in HIS nation on these same issues and find some descrepencies in his logic. One item he would like to discuss is how he finds the climate change terrifying. Now I realize that scientists disagree if there actually IS global warming, but generally those who DO, often mention pollution as its … Read entire article »
