Global Warming Data Dumped
While everyone is stuck on the Tiger Woods story, I’d like to point out that the BIGGER story over the weekend is that scientists who are predicting gloom and doom of global warming have been caught manipulating the data and scheming to show that the earth is warming in order to help the entity that is Al Gore and friends control our every day lives and more important our wallets. Along with that, now scientists now admit to throwing away the data showing their “proof” of warming. SCIENTISTS at the University of East Anglia (UEA) have admitted throwing away much of the raw temperature data on which their predictions of global warming are based. It means that other academics are not able to check basic calculations said to show a … Read entire article »

In these confusing times on what some are calling global warming, there exists, I found out, concerns about the state of the climate measuring network. Apparently the data received is in question. Now since a day doesn’t go by that we don’t hear about how the earth is warming up, it would be a good idea to at least make sure the information they are feeding us is accurate. Even though doubts as to the purity of the data was suspect in 1997, now, ten years later, this has not been investigated nor acted on. Enter this site, SurfaceStations.org, volunteering time to take photographs, measuring, and taking of notes to see if this task could be done by individuals, when our bloated government couldn’t. Their goal? “To do a hands on site survey to photograph … Read entire article »

Data Recovery Mama
Laura borrowed my camera last night and after a session with it, she downloaded the photos to her laptop in her usual fashion, then came to my room to put the camera and everything away. Not long after that, I heard a little panic from her room, "Where did my pictures go?" She was sure she downloaded them, and I went to her room and showed her how to do a search for images modified on that day. Nothing came up. We then looked on the camera, and the card was empty. The photos were definately gone. After a few searches on her laptop with nothing appearing, I decided to run some data recovery software I had previously downloaded for my own "crisis"with my external hard drive not so long ago. So I … Read entire article »

Data Recovery
"For dust thou art, and unto dust thou shalt return” "But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal" ——————————————————– My external hard drive failed me this Sunday, locking away from me some of my most precious treasures. I have done well I think, in not panicking and trying to get through this without falling apart. While I go through the motions of what I have learned is called, "Data Recovery", I have taken time to ponder and be spiritual in recognizing how fleeting life is, where we store our treasure on earth, and where we really should be storing them. Life here on earth is like a blink of an eye. For now, I’d love my data back. *sigh* … Read entire article »
