We should have known we were in for a silly day the way it started.
Earlier in the week, John received a call from a fellow who was interested in buying one of his photos. They were settling on price and a place to meet for delivery, how many photos and what size, and then John found out where he lived, in Mandurah. Instead of meeting somewhere or having the man come here to pick it up, John offered to take ... Read More

This was a different Easter for me.
I suppose this was the first time since 1979, that I was away from the bosom of my family for Easter. After talking to them, I think I was missed. I did miss them too, however, I was kept very busy with my new family.
We did make it to church, at Morley Baptist, the pastor gave a sermon on the facts about the resurrection. Interestingly enough, Rodney's blog post today and radio show also ... Read More

Today, John's sister, Georgie arrived from Penn Station in Baltimore to spend some time with us.
Silas loves her already, and it looks like so does Rubí!
Today we spent the who day shopping at Arundel Mills Mall, and tomorrow we have planned a day outing at Harper's Ferry!
It's very sweet to have John's sister here! ... Read More

On our next day without rain, John, Laura, and I went to Rocks State Park and Jerusalem Mill Park in Harford County, Maryland.
Rocks has 855 acres of dense forests and massive boulders rising above Deer Creek. The King and Queen Seat, once a ceremonial gathering place of the Susquehannock Indians, is a natural 190 foot rock outcrop. This cliff, reached by scenic trails, affords a view of the rolling hills and farmland of Harford County. Also preserved on park property ... Read More

Yet another rainy day for John's holiday in Maryland.
Fortunately we had Cameron here to entertain us and us entertain him.
Now Mr. Dolphin isn't a stranger to Cameron, as they talk on the webcam each Wednesday.
So in short order, Cam was on John's lap and looking out the window, through the rain, watching the birds and squirrels.
John also built Cam a train track to play on.
John himself took some photos, show how much Yaya and I love the dear little Cameron....
Tomorrow ... Read More

I just checked Mr. Dolphin's flight status. This is his last leg of a very long journey.
He is not going to like that radar with all that rain headed towards us!

Beth Ellen took an interest in my charm bracelet I blogged about yesterday, asking for more information.
I was more than happy to do so. As crowded as this bracelet is, I still need some more: A dolphin would be nice, and something to represent my children.

Mom came in my room with a big package from down under which had been left at the front doorstep. Inside amidst lollies and whole wheat crackers that Laura especially loves, was a small box for a little something for me for my birthday, which isn't until May 11th. Inside the little box was a pendant with a heart and a little adorable dolphin.
Thank you John. :) I love it.

My son's friend Mike, has become somewhat of a live-in at our home at times.
Each time he comes for a sleepover, it usually turns into an extended event, where he eats lots, drains the cookie jar and the milk bottle. We tease him a lot because of it. I like having Mike here though, he is a nice friend to Miquel.
How special it was this Christmas when I picked him up for a sleepover during the holidays when he gave ... Read More
