Invitation to Think
Matthew over at I, Pandora has been thinking and invited me to link to this particular blog; a few of his ponderings regarding our culture today. An example: “There is no objective truth!” the claim rings across the hills and valleys. “Oh? Is that true?” the echo returns. “Yes, it is!” is the reply, ignorant of it’s own disproving irony. “Green” Also Means Money
The day after Live Earth, I read my daughter’s science book on the “global warming” theory and scanned news articles, which a few were revealing about the MONEY some of the headliners and people associated with Live Earth make and made. For instance, Live Earth Participant, FoxNews says about Madonna: Madonna, who seems to be on top of all her many business endeavors, has actually invested about $2.7 million dollars in companies that are creating the destruction that Live Earth is trying to raise awareness about. The Curtain Rods She spent the first day packing her belongings into boxes, crates, and suitcases. On the second day, she had the movers come and collect her things. On the third day, she sat down for the last time at their beautiful dining room table by candlelight, put on some soft background music and feasted on a pound of shrimp, a jar of caviar and a bottle of Chardonnay. When she had finished she went into each and every room and deposited a few half-eaten shrimp dipped in caviar into the hollow of the curtain rods. She then cleaned up the kitchen and left. When the husband returned … Read entire article »
