Recently, Miranda sent me a lovely postcard from Wisconsin, so I put it together with Petra’s from Graceland and New Orleans. Also, I found an old one sent to me from Morocco and then I found one from the Mackinac Bridge, Niagara Falls, Washington D.C., and finally one from Baltimore. This doesn’t even seem possible, January 2007. But a recent headline says differently.   Adultery could mean life, court finds. “In a ruling sure to make philandering spouses squirm, Michigan’s second-highest court says that anyone involved in an extramarital fling can be prosecuted for first-degree criminal sexual conduct, a felony punishable by up to life in prison.” The article goes on to say no one expects prosecutors to declare open season on cheating spouses, but you got to wonder. I suppose with a name like HELL, the towns people of Hell, Michigan, had to get into this 666 frenzy in a certain fashion – they are. They are having a big party. The souveneir shops are stocked with 666 T-shirts and mugs and everyone who comes will get a letter of authenticity saying you’ve celebrated June 6, 2006, in Hell.
