Who said there are no such thing as rich Democrats?! Michael Bloomberg is an independent Democrat, you have George Soros, Ted Turner, Al Gore who is now on the board of directors at Apple, yes the computing company, and you have Jeff Greene in Florida and there is also Oprah.
I've heard the lie and mantra and so have you. The democrats are for the poor working class and the rich are Republicans, evil wicked Republicans.
Why do people carry on ... Read More

Now if you were a Russian and came to live, work, and stay in the United States, which party do you suppose you would align with?
Apparently quite a few find a connection between the Democrats and the former Soviet Union and what they left behind. It's a group I think worth investigating their knowledgeable insight.
Many Russian immigrants to the "red borough" of Staten Island are flocking to the Republican Party, saying that the national Democrats' "socialistic" policies remind ... Read More

The United States of America, as I see it, is becoming the United States of Obama.
Liberals control Congress and the White House. They've taken over health care. They've nationalized large blocks of the auto industry, the insurance industry, the banking industry. Once they finish with the oil and gas industry, what's left?
That's an important question to ask yourself, as you look at these industries and think to yourself, yes, they're hit, but not me. It won't happen ... Read More

Did you know that Republicans have 30+ bills for Health Care reform that have had no acknowledgment from the Obama Administration? When Rep. Joe Wilson shouted out "You lie!" during Obama's recent address to Congress, no doubt it's from the frustration of having ideas ignored while Obama stood there, in front of God, the American people and congress and said, ""My door is always open."
From the Washington Examiner:
"We knew the president would at some point say something like, 'and the ... Read More

I heard some of Michael Steele's speech yesterday, found it very strong using some very direct words, and last night set out to find the whole speech online. Some of it is worth sharing here:
"People are sick of politicians and political parties who never own up to their mistakes. We have done so. We lost our way on spending and we owned up to that. We came to Washington to change it and in some ways we let Washington change ... Read More

Either Orwell's Doublespeak is here, or Obama has a whole other definition to bipartisanship. Frankly, I think it's both.
Republicans have caught the Democrats in a midnight “stimulus” power play that seeks to cut Republican conferees out of the House-Senate negotiations to resolve a final version of the Obama “stimulus” package. Staff members from the offices of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) met last night to put together the “stimulus” conference report.
They intend to ... Read More

Ok, perhaps this is a bit of silliness, but geez, these candidates keep giving us stuff to poke fun of.
It seems Obama has an Energy Plan. I am very excited about it. I've always been interested in the proper air pressure of my tires. (This was right after I blew one up).
:)
And the Replicans are having a little fun too, selling these tire pressure gauges. And why not? This is what Obama himself said:
"There are things you can do ... Read More

A few days ago, I blogged how in spite of the crisis facing our nation, congress decided to take an early holiday.
Since Democrat Nancy Pelosi controls the cameras, we can't see on C-Span how some House Republicans stayed behind to carry on with this issue, debating how best to handle it.
"In an urgent memo sent to GOP Members and staff Saturday (“A Call to Action on American Energy”), Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) and Whip Roy Blunt (R-MO) hailed Friday’s ... Read More

Apparently, "Nanny" Pelosi made a promise to reduce gas prices:
In a press release dated April 24, 2006, Pelosi said, “Democrats have a commonsense plan to help bring down skyrocketing gas prices by cracking down on price gouging, rolling back the billions of dollars in taxpayer subsidies, tax breaks and royalty relief given to big oil and gas companies, and increasing production of alternative fuels.”
I think it's time that someone pointed out that the price of gasoline has spiked $1.18 since ... Read More
