Birds of Our Backyard

It's winter here in Perth but in between rains, it's fun to see the visitors to our bird bath in the yard.

Visiting frequently are some wattle birds like this one.

Sometimes some different bird noises can be heard, and when I go to investigate, it's usually Lorikeets. They don't seem to mind if I get close.

Now technically this was in the front yard on our Silver Princess Tree, this is a black faced Cuckoo-shrike.

How wonderful it is to see these colorful and different birds to the Eastern U.S.!
I count it a blessing and I enjoy them so much!
