Escape to the Country

We enjoyed last weekend so much, we made another escape back to the country. (Click on images for a larger view)

One reason is I just love getting away from the suburbs and enjoying the lush green hills.

We stopped to do our orchid and wildflower hunting, but there was always time to take in the panoramas of the countryside.

The clouds were playing the game too, but hiding some of the flowers we were looking for, as they closed without the sun.

If your going to go wildflower hunting  you have to be prepared to go on dusty roads like this...

Or be prepared to eat the dust of the occasional passerby.

Of course, you can always take a break from looking down low at the flowers, and make your way up high to a lookout.
