If It’s Good Enough for a Prince…

On our trips to the country, north of Perth, we’ve often stopped a Bindoon. Usually it’s a quick trip into IGA for a drink or snacks, once a quick stop to the flower show. We’ve often seen a Bakery there, as busy as can be. After seeing this a few times you start to think, maybe this is a good place to go. I believe we were settled that we should go next chance.

Our chance came this past weekend. I had fallen, sprained my ankle, and there wasn’t a lot of walking I could do. John was aware that it was getting close to lunch, since I was resisting a trip to the doctors, he said then, “Where do you want to do lunch?”

“Bindoon bakery!”
Even though we weren’t anywhere close to it, off we went.

And why not, the headlines were earlier this year, in May, Prince Harry himself made a stop into this very Bakery.

Bindoon, population of 740, has this amazing bakery, the Bindoon Bakehaus.

These delights are just partially what is available to the bakery customer.

Since I was injured I quickly found a seat while John picked up our lunch. I had to notice the image in the frame, rather fitting for a bakery :)

Besides a ham and cheese sandwich grilled to perfection, I ordered this, a coffee eclair. It was heavenly.

John chose a sponge cake, layered in jam then rolled in coconut.

I would like to go back again.
Now, where ELSE did the Prince eat in Perth?
