Iris and Family

Iris has become someone special to me, she is more than a mother in law. So, even though we were deep in floor mess in the kitchen, there was no saying no when she invited us to come to the house for dinner and meet her side of the family.

Iris is originally from Malaysia and was sure to include some of its cuisine on her table, with a warning of what might be too hot for me to eat.(I think she was right).

Iris got help from many sisters there that evening.

The Dolphins were represented there too, l-r: Alan, Danielle, Georgie, Iris herself, and Dad.

As you can see here, Iris can be quick to tell you off, tease, or whatever. She needs this being from a big family and married to John's father. :)

Not all were here, but those who were assembled for a group photo at Iris’s request. (You can click for a larger view)

Another shot of the family. Brian, on the left, reminded me so much of my Uncle Arthur, very jolly and interested in everything.

Well, whenever Georgie is around, I seem to have to get in front of the camera. But they were happy to include me in their family photo.

My husband, sometimes a bit of a clown, also was asked to join in.

A little more serious here. 🙂
