John Meets the Grandchildren

John arrived late last night, or even could call it early this morning. With two days travel and only a few hours night sleep, his day began with breakfast and…SILAS!

Silas was surprised to see his internet web cam buddy that he has tea with each morning in our living room, LIVE and in person! What was even more interesting, was Silas was surprised how BIG John was. He was only little on the computer screen!

It didn’t take Silas long to be “best mates” with John.

Silas is fascinted with John’s watch.

Still having fun with John.

During Silas’s nap time, John and I went shopping, as John needed a new pair of shoes. We walked hours around Arundel Mills Mall.

Mom puts John to work fixing the screen door, Silas helps.

Later, John watches Silas at his sandbox in our backyard.

Two days travel and not enough sleep takes its toll as John nods off in his new shoes.

Somewhat rested, it’s time to play basketball with Silas.

Rubi, decided to show off while John was here and took six or seven steps to her nana and all around today!

Later, after dinner, the whole family celebrated John’s birthday, which was late with my Rum cake and presents.
