Meandering in Washington D.C.

Synara wanted to see the White House and Alejandra wanted to see the Lincoln Memorial, so we went back to Washington D.C.

We chose a circle that would begin going to the Lincoln Memorial and then to the other side to the Capitol, with the White House and other stops in between.

Our trail for the day.

Laura takes a photo with her cell phone of us riding the metro into D.C.

The Washington Monument, in need of repairs thanks to the Earthquake.

We couldn’t get too close to it but it still something to look up at, with Synara getting a photo.

On our way to the Lincoln Memorial, a squirrel became friendly. I asked Alejandra if she had any sandwich left.

Which she gave the squirrel a bite. (The WWII Memorial behind her, it was also having a lot of construction).
