Office Space

“Changing my life with the wave of her hand..”  The Beatles

I’ve been repeatedly accused of changing the house with ‘the wave of my hand.’

Well some changes were needed, but I now really like that Beatles song. 🙂

I had some difficulty convincing my husband that his new bride needed an office space of her own. He would point to his desk and wave his hand as if to say, we can share this. I thought about it, looked around and just didn’t see the SPACE. There really wasn’t any for me.

Once convinced, my husband sure did very right by me. A lovely desk, matching file drawer, and a very comfortable seat that I fear will be taken away and used any time I am absent. This office acquisition wasn’t by no means an easy project, John literally had to move heaven and earth, but he packed it all into every square inch of his car, to which I will never hear the end of. 🙂  Thankfully, Jeff came over to help put it into the room.

Behold, my new office space 🙂

As you can see, I even started to decorate. I put Anchor’s calendar up, a painting I did of John years ago. To the left is a new printer that I have turned out to be crazy about, it does very large prints.

It’s a lovely space for me and I am so thankful for it.

[…] The wave of my hand must have far reaching powers, for John has showed me that our chairs are now a completed project. […]
