Perth Revisited

After settling in after our honeymoon, we decided to go into Perth.

Driving into Perth, I asked John to go past the streets that were having a roadside collection, a curious thing they do that I noticed the last time I was here. What is also curious is how John told me that sometimes you put things out for a collection and people feel free to take what they want. They also have another roadside collection for branches and yard debris.

Near where we parked, a show of how Perth mixes old and new.

The emblem of Western Australia, the black swan in a lamp post.

I think I could make a single post on Sculptures around Perth. This is one showing a working class man through the ages, it's called Footsteps in Time.

The ride home from Perth, I just had to capture the banksias growing on the side of the road.
