Perth Royal Show: The Horses

As we wandered around the Perth Royal show, we saw something out of the corner of our eyes in the main arena. Horses!

I didn’t expect so many different kinds nor all the jumping and excitement that was to come.

We both took so many photos of them all day and into the night, what is here are just a few.  However, here is a list of the many kinds that were at the show.

John and I watched the Clydesdales for a long time!

And then, it got darker and it was time for a different type of horse show in the arena…

They did cattle rustling…

And then there was a most patriotic display, lots of singing and shouting AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE OI OI OI

We are one, but we are many
And from all the lands on earth we come
We share a dream and sing with one voice:
I am, you are, we are Australian

It’s a very catchy tune 🙂

And then the place went black, and the horses and riders lit up!

What a fantastic night I will never forget. I absolutely LOVED it.
