Special Man

I have a special man in my life…
He was born 23 years ago today. Happy birthday, my son.
Your mama is so very proud of everything you are.

Now he is grown and married to Miranda, and they are so very happy. He married a mom’s dream woman for her son.

Now and then, there are deep reminders of our wonderful connection we have.
Now and then, there are sweet reminders of a little boy so dearly loved…like a little Ernie figure on a pedastal in his home.

Love you.

Wendy & I are having a debate we need your help with Barb. Wendy thinks the first
pix with Enric in back of the tub with Ernie is a painting. I say it’s simply a
photograph. What’s the verdict? Painting or Photo?

  3. Actually, neither of you are correct, but I suppose Wendy was closest.

It is a 3-D resin type sculpture of Ernie in the bathtub, with a cut-out place
for a child to give the “appearence” of actually being in the tub with Ernie.

I took Enric’s shirt off before snapping a pic to give that extra touch of real.

    🙂

I have him also in a trash can making grouchy faces, and him and I together on the
“Steps” of 123 Sesame St, with “the Count” in the window. It was a fun visit.

Snapping? Doesn’t that mean a photograph was taken?

  5. Yes, indeed it does. And I edited my comment
    for clarity 🙂

I have to find those other photos taken
    at Sesame Place.

Grrrr… so how can you say Wendy is closest when I win the debate hands down?
It’s A PHOTOGRAPH!! Regardless of Resin this or Sculpture that… the final
product displayed in HTML was taken through the lens of a camera!! Arggggggg!!
