Sunrise at Whiteman Park

We set the alarm for 5 am.

Even though we aren’t in a beach hideaway like on our honeymoon, I asked John for some good places near the house to go for sunrise. He suggested Whiteman Park. I love it there, so I was happy with the idea.

Even though we set the clock for 5, we might have been a tad late, but it was good from the start.

It was a lovely morning, there before it got too hot.

We were in good company.

If I live to be 100, I will never get tired of watching this…

The colors got stronger. Kind of sad to see power lines around such a beautiful place.

You can’t miss Whiteman Park, it has dead, but fascinating, trees there.

Of course, not all are dead.

A little ride down the road, I couldn’t resist a horse photo for mom.

It was the start of a good and productive day. 🙂
