The Fourth

This July 4th we had the usual BBQ and family time. Laura did something a bit different for the holiday and took Alejandra and Synara for a hike to Patapsco State Park. After dinner, we dashed to get the slurpees and then off to the fireworks in Annapolis.

This year we split into two groups and those that wanted to take photos went to the bridge and those that wanted to play ball and such went to the grass hill below.

So it was just Laura, Synara, and I above. Here Laura spreads her very patriotic scarf (from FreePeople) in the breezes.

We got a good spot on the bridge over the Severn River.

The strong breeze knocked my camera over twice (and I caught it) so my photos are few. Hoping Laura and Synara did better. 🙂
