WoW Children

Even though it’s hard to say what is normal these days…I know I qualify as not being a normal Nana.

As mentioned in another post, I let Silas and Rubi create their own World of Warcraft toons.

What has been interesting to see is how it has manifested into everyday life, especially for Rubi.
The most fun thing for her in playing her mage is to see what new ‘gear’ and clothing she gets. So I should not have been surprised when she insisted I take her photo with my hair clips on her arms, as she told me, “she was dressing like her WoW character.”

What fascinated me is how tough she wanted to look, typically Rubí is all girl. Well, she does have an older brother.

Another interesting item was that my daughter Laura shared a photo of Rubi posed in my hair clips and the response was overwhelming, almost viral, with claims like, “You must have a cool family.”

So I will continue to play this game as all as they are allowed, and thinking into the future, it’s sweet to think we have yet something else that bonds us and creates a memory plus future ways to play.

Silas perhaps isn’t as much into living the part in real life, but so like a boy perhaps to be more focused on the weapons…

As shown here when he picked up a bow and arrow and I thought, he had great style. 🙂
