WoW With Silas and Rubi

While some Nanas are happy and busy reading fairy tales to their grandchildren, and it’s something I support and enjoy completely, however,  I guess you can say I am no ordinary Nana.

They sit on my lap or in the chair next to me while we have adventures on World of Warcraft
.

Rubi recently had a birthday and it dawned on me it was about this age that I let Silas create his first WoW character and that I should let her as well.

So, she wanted ElenaRubi, a mage, with ebony black hair. Interesting, I thought, looks so different from hers.

ElenaRubi is busy having adventures in the Elwynn Forest, gathering wood, and meeting murlocs.
Rubi very much enjoys when ElenaRubi gets new clothes and gear. When we complete a quest she asks me, “What did she get, Nana?” Not sure I should tell her about the WoW beauty salon or not…

Silas, excited for Rubi, elected to get another WoW toon. This time a Death Knight. He needed a tough name we decided, so Pop Pop helped us come up with Silitheus. Great name!

Silitheus, where he flies below his starting point.

Both children don’t play any of it seriously, but I think they imagine they are in worlds far away, doing adventurous things. It’s a lot of fun, and I think will strengthen their vocabulary as I seem to have to stop and explain what things are as we go along.

They knew Target was a store their Mama likes to shop at, but in WoW it’s truly something else.
