Birds of Lake Gwelup

As lakes go, Lake Gwelup is a very nice place to go. We’ve been before and have always enjoyed going.  This time we went to see the rainbow bee eaters, but we saw a few more kinds of birds than that.

We watched for a long time this Eurasian Coot and its babies. The babies don't look a lot like mommy or daddy.

This pelican was a tad shy, but I got its picture before it flew off.

Twice now in this same area of the lake we've see a bird of prey. Our guess is a square tailed kite.
