Birthday

Since my birthday and my time here coming to a close was in the same week, the day was a bit of an emotional roller coaster. Won’t do that again.
But it was also very happy, it was my FIRST birthday in Australia!

John, in spite of the infinite about of hints given to him, didn’t know what to give me for my birthday. Finally, that morning, I gave him a long list. Didn’t really get any of it, though we looked. 🙂

We came home with THIS.

My new suitcase!

What is so great about this suitcase?

Can you see the color?
It’s so bright, it has to be easy to find when looking at a sea of suitcases coming around the carousel!

It’s LIGHT as a feather. 2.5kg. I can take MORE STUFF in it and not go over my 50 pound limit!

It has four wheels and rolls around so easy!

And most of all, for a woman who fell in the shower and hurt her shoulder, this will hopefully make airports easier on the trip to Maryland.

My husband is so thoughtful. Now he gets my old suitcase until we can get him the suitcase of HIS dreams. (He wants a Samsonite).
