Buckets of Fun
Today was a “Cammy Day” as we call them, and being summer, swimming in the pool was definitely a highlight scheduled for the day.

Now Cammy being older, knows how to do a lot more in the pool than Silas and of course RubÃ.
Rubà is not yet enchanted with getting into the water, yet, and Silas seems to run out of things to do soon.
So, I decided to fill up some buckets with water.
Silas found out how fun sitting in a bucket of water can be!

Next was RubÃ’s turn.
She liked it!
So much time was spent adding water, splashing water, dumping it into the pool, and then getting shovels from the sandbox to play with the buckets of water.

This blog entry brought back memories to me! When we were kids, my mom used to tell us to soak our feet in a bucket of water when we were hot (although, I think that Silas and Rubi got more than just their feet in!). But what we REALLY wanted was a nice in-ground swimming pool, and were so envious of people who had them!
