Easter 2009

This Easter was special having John here with us.

First we went to church, and afterwards, we did the typical picture taking in the vestibule.
Here is ( l. to r.) Miranda, Laura, and Erin.

John joined in with he picture taking, and showed the girls the three beauties he took pictures of, and how it turned in with a fisheye lens.

I always have to take one of Miquel and Laura together.

After a trip to Dunkin Donuts, John and I went on a drive around Pasadena, and a walk in  Fort Smallwood Park. We had a lot of chances to take photos of waterfowl there.

After a walk around the cold and windy park, we stopped in at Chelsea Beach, a special place for me to take someone special. This time however, we got to see an osprey get a fish out of the water.

We were called home, saying that dinner was ready. Mom prepared ham, corn, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, rolls, corn bread, asparagus, and deviled eggs. Stuffed, I decided to take Aiden around for a walk. He was frustrated with his bottle of bubbles, so John showed him how.

Aiden was soon understanding how it worked and laughed so hard! He was thrilled!
In fact, I’d say Aiden was HAPPY!

Conner soon joined us, and also tried to blow bubbles.

Roger took both  boys on a wheelbarrow ride.

Last, we celebrated Kim’s birthday, and ate yellow cake with chocolate icing and some of mom’s chocolate dipped coconut and fruit and nut homemade Easter eggs.

A great Easter.
