John’s EH

John’s EH Holden parked by the side of the road while we photographed wildflowers.

John has a 1964 EH Holden. He doesn’t drive it much when I am there, but Dad was having issues with his KIA, and it looked like John was going to have to share his primary car with Dad, which left him to use his EH. So, we took it out to see how it would run. It started first time. 🙂

On this day, we were up in the hills looking at wildflowers, and I grabbed our new video camera so my sons could see how it runs.

Well he looked like he was having fun to me.

Incidentally this is the 50th anniversary of the EH Holden,  they touched on it some at the King’s Park Wildflower show, and also John went to the EH 50th Anniversary Car Show this past weekend.

Ok, he we are. John is turning out of the side of the road.

It’s an old Holden…. of course it started FIRST time !

VERY restrained… I didn’t hear the slightest squeal of tyre rubber

AND you have a handbrake that works !!!

of course it would be much nicer Holden if it was 8 years older

if it were 8 years older it would still be a classic Holden, and start first time
it just wouldn’t be iconic, like the EH

and yes restrained, in case Barb showed her mum 🙂

Don’t I get credit for restraint?
I only said, “Dad was having issues with his KIA”
    Now THAT’S restraint!
