Lake Joondalup

Today after church and relaxing at home, we decided to go to Lake Joondalup.
Here are some of the sights, birds, and SPIDERS there!

John assured me these were common garden spiders, but they were HUGE and they were many in the woods of Lake Joondalup.

John called these snails below pests, because their European and don’t belong here. I couldn’t help but think, they’re pests here, but in Spain, they’re lunch. 🙂

A happy surprise, some blue fairy wrens.

Austracantha minax , below, (with common names including Australian jewel spider, Christmas spider and spiny spider) is a distinctive Australian spider.

One more look at Blue Fairy Wrens before we go.
