Margaret River Fudge Factory

So we had already been to Margaret River Chocolate Factory, so this tine, I thought it might be a good idea to try the Fudge Factory. I like fudge, so why not?

I tried a long time to get a photo of the place without a certain person. I couldn't make the shot work without him. So as obvious as I was that I was taking a photo, he wouldn't budge. So, this is the front of the Fudge Factory plus a perfect stranger. :)

After that we quickly went inside to sample and see what flavors of fudge they had.

As you can see they had a lot to choose from.

They had other things for sale too, like, candies, cough drops, chocolates and pralines. (Guy that wouldn't move, still there). :)

And like most fudge places, you could watch it being made. Not like back in Baltimore where they sing and put on a show, though.

We got four different kinds.
My verdict? Even though they say it has won awards, I didn’t find it as good as ours bought in a store, and it couldn’t get near my mom’s fudge. Which started me on a roll of trying to make it myself. I have to humbly admit that how so few ingredients and so few steps can go so horribly wrong, I will never understand.

Maybe I need a stranger sitting out my front door. 🙂
Nah, mom never had one and hers is the BEST.
