Mike, Fideus is a pasta dish, almost like a very fat spaghetti. The meat used is
melt in your mouth pork rib meat, and the dish is flavored with an olive oil, onion,
and tomato base. (Sofrito) The spice used is Saffron, but too expensive for me, so
I substitute turmeric when I need to. It is also one of my favorite meals in Spain.
Heather is the daughter of one of my oldest and dearest friends, Chris. She happens
to be close in age to Laura, and they have become friends. In fact, there are two
instances where my daughter is close friends to daughters of MY close friends (Chris and
Lisa, moms of Heather and Shelby, respectively) It’s actually kinda nice to see
our daughters be so close.
Initially Miquel wanted The Ring, and for his finger, and I got it for him,
I think I ordered it a little too big, so he opted to wear it around his neck during
sports. He really likes the ring, and doesn’t want to lose it!
