So Xerraire… knowing that Rod Stewart is a Homosexual and openly supports Gay
causes; will you continue to listen to his music and purchase his CD’s?

  2. NightOwl, (say did you recognize the art work?)

I don’t recall ever hearing that Rod Stewart is a homosexual and its the first time
anyone has ever mentioned it. I have never read or heard of any causes of his
    that he promotes either.

If he is, he sure has a good way of hiding it with his string of blonde girlfriends
and wives, like Britt Ekland, Alana Hamilton and Rachel Hunter.

I suppose if we all had to look behind closed doors of the recording artists
we like, I think we all might find a few things there we didn’t like or wish
to support. There just seems to be something that happens when one becomes rich
and famous that they seem to have to find creative ways to spend their money and
fill up their time, that might not appeal to the rest of us “normal folk”.

As for your question, I suppose I have bought music of people that are openly homosexual
and surely promoting it. (David Bowie, Elton John, and the now deceased Freddie
    Mercury quickly come to mind).

I’d like to think that talent is God given, and at least they are using it. I’ve
had this argument with my mom many times when she would always tell me not to purchase
or even listen to such music, and I usually always came back to her with perhaps
she might like to re-think her Frank Sinatra records and his mob affiliations. To
my dad, I could always give example of Honky Tonk and Folsum Prison Songs.

Art isn’t always wholesome, is it? Maybe it should be. I think each one of us
though, have a different line where we won’t cross. I seem to have a rather
“relaxed” line with my music, yet I cannot tolerate half the movies that seem
    fine to others.

In the end, Rod will answer to God for anything he does and promotes, and I so
will Barbara Lopez. I will worry about Barbara Lopez, she’s a handful!

    🙂

  3. NightOwl says:

So you’re kewl with me drinking Starbucks Coffee??
    (Laughing)

  4. If you want to.
It wasn’t me who wasn’t, was your mom.
    🙂

I think I said so, that its up to you. I did say
I understood her need to educate you, but not to
    force anything on you.

  5. NightOwl says:

I was just heckling you over the “Starbucks” issue Barb. But I must say that
“Googling” the question of Rod Stewarts sexuality brings up some interesting reads!

  6. Don’t think I’ll go there 🙂
